Designed a visual based on the concept of the 'twice tolling clock' (from the book A gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles).
The idea is that we spent too much time looking at clocks. Which is doubly weird, because any timeframe shorter than a day is arbitrarily made up by us. I believe we should follow the circadian rhythm and our energy levels instead.
So anyway, this clock only tolls twice. At noon, when labor is supposed to be done. And at midnight, which you'd never hear because you'd be in bed by then (according to the book).
Anyway the book is a fun read, check it out.
